Moviehouse Summer Schedule @ Sternberg Park

Moviehouse: CinemaParque returns to Sternberg Park this July. The handball courts come alive every other Monday as an unique outdoor alternative movie spot on warm summer nights. Visit with friends and neighbors, view entertaining films about the area and engage in conversation with talented artists. And it's free!

New Children New York
New Children/New York is an intimate portrait of the struggles and perseverance of young immigrants coming of age in a rarely seen New York City. Set in a community workshop in Bushwick, a Latino immigrant and low-income neighborhood of Brooklyn, the documentary follows three young people among a group of students who are studying filmmaking.

Sternberg Dances
Local park-goers of all ages, encouraged by choreographer Ann Robideaux, participate in a community dance collaboration resulting in a montage of movement and other talents for the camera. Open to everyone, this site-specific dance film celebrates Sternberg Park’s unique personalities and social community in one of Williamsburg’s most historic parks.
