From May 3 to May 14 , 2010, Excalibur Bronze will hold its first annual sculpture exhibition and juried sculpture competition, Sculpture 2010, with an opening party on Saturday night, May 1.  The show will feature works by selected sculptors as well as sculpture and paintings by Excalibur's own artists.  One of the 14 guest sculptors will be selected as the Grand Prize winner to be announced at the opening and will receive a $2,500 credit for Excalibur bronze casting services. In addition, for the first time ever, Excalibur will perform a "Candlelight Pour" - an exhibition bronze pour using the millennia old lost wax casting casting process.

PLUS 3rd Ward artists will earn a 20% discount if they attend and sign up for the Excalibur Sterling Medallion Foundry Club!

Project Runaway Photos are UP!

Last Friday, hundreds of art lovers joined us to enter a universe where inflatable sculptures came face to face with a giant robotic hyaenodon head, performances featured pizza, a cardboard city of Rotterdam, soccer balls with faces, men in unitards and, of course, complimentary Colt 45.

Like a bizarre cultural alchemy, deep within a forest somewhere in space, the spirit of Grace Jones in her prime collides with the TRON legacy to present an all night secret and mysterious collaboration between Brooklyn's finest musicians, DJ's, artists, designers and filmmakers. 

'Dark Allies' film production presents a masqueraded spectacle of color, feathers, glitter and fur on the eve of May 1st.  

Featuring live music from The Death Set, Sigmund Droid, Tigersapien and The Fieros and Disk Jockey master sets from Dirty Fingers, DJ 2% Milk, DJ Charlie and DJ Kevin Loca + many more...

Join us in a crazy kaleidoscope of beauty and darkness, with light performances/installation art by our special guests from Holland and their full body laser suits.  Prince Hashmat who will shake you up with his special mixed SAKE sauce as well as a huge boat installation that will swing above your head.  

We will be sporting a hybrid machine of fashion, art and music to call on all creatures of the night.  One extravaganza of a party you won't forget....
