Wire Wrapping
Feeling crafty? Did you know you can quickly and easily fabricate professional looking jewelry with just wire, semi-precious stones and pliers?
In this single session class you will learn three basic wire wrapping skills: the basic link, wire wrapping with head pins and wire wrapping for briolettes (tear drop shaped beads). This precise process will have you fabricating original jewelry pieces in no time. These skills will allow you to make nearly any kind of jewelry - from linked chains to earrings to pendants and much more. Plus, the skills you learn here can easily be replicated in your own home, and require minimal tools.
Whip up a few quick gifts, or just have some fun making quick and easy jewelry of your own design! Each student will leave with at least one finished piece - earrings, pendant or bracelet.
Note: If you have vision problems or difficulty with fine motor skills this may not be the class for you. You will be required to inspect the ends of your piece very closely to ensure secure and safe closures. If you wear glasses or contacts please remember to bring them!
