Public Speaking & Presentation Skills Intensive

Want to improve your public speaking skills? Come across as more genuine and less robotic? When leading workshops or speaking about your work, do nerves and anxiety get in the way? If you want to build your career or promote your work by speaking, but need a safe place to test the waters and get expert feedback, this class is for you.

The ability to connect with others in an authentic way is the key to being a great speaker – and it carries over into the success of your business and personal life. This 3-hour workshop is limited to 10 attendees who will get live expert coaching, as well as video recording and playback, to get clarity on exactly how they can strengthen their presentation skills.You will leave this workshop having had the physical experience of speaking in front of a group and watching yourself on video, and will gain valuable insight into how you can be a more powerful communicator.

The main focus of this workshop is to get you on your feet and identify what is preventing you from being the best live, in the moment speaker you can be.

Preparation: If you have something short (1-2 mins) that you'd like to work on, bring it in! Otherwise we can generate some content in class.

Instructor

Bill Smartt is the president of Smartt Talk Inc., and has led communication workshops and individual coaching sessions at American Express, CreditSuisse, Planned Parenthood, General Assembly, Brooklyn Brainery, Sunshine Suites, Little Pim, Method, Arc 90, and Kindling Inc. He has experience in account management, software sales, project portfolio management, financial controlling, and as a software product specialist. Bill brings 20 years of experience to his role as communications coach having worked as a performer, teacher, writer and producer in San Francisco, Seattle and New York.
