Lightroom

Lightroom has quickly become the essential foundation to a productive photography workflow. More than just a DAM (Digital Asset Manager), Lightroom has all the tools to help catalog, develop and output your photos so you can focus most on what you enjoy—taking photographs.

We'll show you how browsing, organizing and adjusting images in Lightroom dynamically improves photo management, processing and presentation.  Students will learn how to create a workflow that fits their needs. Using the Camera Raw workflow in Lightroom students will also learn to process images and manage a digital photo library. We will touch on the option for output as well. But the main focus is Image Processing through RAW.

This class will take place in our Media Lab, equipped with fully-loaded iMac design workstations. Basic Macintosh computer literacy is required for this course.
