Nicky Carvell won our Fall 2011 Open Call, and now she's crossed the Big Pond over to Brooklyn to show us her best and brightest art work! Join us for a night with the artist, see her gorgeously colorful, metallic and vinyl creations.  She counts Stella, Haring and Warhol among her influences, as "charismatic characters who had a distinct attitude and an edge on everyday life; they lived their work."

A child of the 80s, she grew up on these Wild Style graphics, evoking feelings of empowerment and optimism. It inspired her to create her own colorful realm! We're proud to celebrate Nicky's work with a solo show called "Rainbow Rev" --it will be a super fun night of bright, bold work from this fresh artist.
