A Night of Speed Networking w/ 3rd Ward + Work It Brooklyn
FREE // Open to the Public


Join us as we host another inspiring networking event for creative freelancers and professionals in Brooklyn! Designed to connect creatives of all stripes - graphic designers, dancers, musicians, writers, artists, tech gurus, etc - in a fun and collaborative environment.

Speed networking will be followed by brief demos from 3rd Ward's professional development instructors who'll be present to show you what it takes to make that tweet charm your customer and utilize quickbooks to your best advantage. 

Speed networking starts promptly at 8pm! 


About the Instructors:

Robin Grearson
 is a nonfiction writer and arts curator whose essays have been published in The New York Times, The Brooklyn Rail, and other publications. Her events have been covered by The L Magazine, Hyperallergic ArtInfo and elsewhere. Her background also includes experience as an entrepreneur, a magazine editor and an event producer. She loves helping non-writers learn to communicate 
more 
effectively. 

Robin teaches Learn to Love Your Artist Statement.

Allison Maletz is a sound installation artist, photographer, and painter.  She teaches at Marymount Manhattan College and has recently exhibited her installation work in the Moscow Biennale at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. She received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA from the Slade School of Fine Art, London.  She has also exhibited various mediums in the Liverpool Biennial, New Contemporaries UK, Zoo Art Italy, and The Royal Watercolor Society in London.
