History

3rd Ward Founders Jason Goodman and Jeremy Lovitt moved to New York City in 2004. Immediately they were confronted with the limitations of being a working creative professional; either you work at home and don't have the space and tools you need, or you sacrifice creative freedom and work for someone else.

Their solution: 3rd Ward. In September 2005, they took over a 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse space in the third ward of Brooklyn. Friends, designers and local builders and fabricators put their blood, sweat and a whole lot of love into getting the facility open by May of 2006.

Today 3rd Ward is a whirlwind of creative people, energy and ideas!  3rd Ward proves that you don't have to spend a lot of money to have the best resources and equipment at your fingertips.
