DO NOT MISS // Steve’s Craft Ice Cream & 61 Local’s Pint Mash-Up This Saturday

We hinted at it in our Partnership Spotlight this a.m. -- and here it is:

Cold, delicious beer and ice cream, coming together on a hot summer day: did someone pluck this idea from our secret fantasy world, or is it just a no-brainer? Come celebrate the union this Saturday at Steve’s Craft Ice Cream’s launch of three new beer flavors, all available in pints and created in partnership with some of Brooklyn’s favorite artisanal producers.

WHAT YOU'LL BE EATING:

  • Beer Pretzel Caramel (Sixpoint Brownstone ice cream swirled with Liddabit Sweets Beer & Pretzel Caramel)
  • Maple Porter Pecan (maple syrup and Sixpoint porter ale with toasted pecan pieces)
  • BKLYN Blackout milk chocolate ice cream swirled with Ovenly's chocolate stout (by Brooklyn Brewery) cake pieces and dark chocolate pudding

WHERE: 61 Local (61 Bergen St, Brooklyn), home of local craft beers and food

WHEN: Sat, Aug 13, 11am to 1am

It’ll be a long day of good times with a whole lot happenin'. A few other highlights include: floats made with Steve’s ice cream and all things on tap (that means beer, soda, kombucha), your classic scoops, ice cream sandwiches, delicious Kickstand iced coffee (served via bicycle coffee cart), tons of free samples and a raffle with grand prizes announced at 11pm.

Right, exactly: How would one live with one's self upon missing this?

And for all you inquiring minds looking for a bit more background, make sure to check out the spotlight on Steve's & Ovenly down below.
